Pathé announces that the shooting started at the Iron Lady. Written by award-winning writer Abi Morgan (Sex Traffic, Brick Lane, White Girl),directed by Phyllida Lloyd CBE (Mamma Mia) and produced by Damian Jones (The History Boys, adulthood). The film is executive Francois Ivernel and Cameron McCracken for Pathe produced by Tessa Ross of Film4 and Adam Kulick for Goldcrest.
THE IRON LADY tells the compelling story of Margaret Thatcher, a woman who broke the barriers of gender and class to be heard in a world dominated by males Upcoming Movies. The story is about the power and the price paid for electricity, and is a surprisingly intimate portrait of an extraordinary woman and complex.
The Oscar-winning Meryl Streep as Lady Thatcher and Jim Broadbentas Denis Thatcher. They are played by young people themselves Alexandra Roach and Harry Lloyd. The rest of the cast of friends and relatives, politicians and consultants who made the best of Britishacting talent, including: Olivia Colman, Nicholas Farrell, Susan Brown, Roger Allam, Anthony Head, Julian Wadham, Pip Torrens, Nick Dunning, Richard E.
